Stone Rock Jaw Crusher Principle of Operation:
The working part of the jaw crusher are two jaw plates. One is a fixed jaw plate, which is vertically (or the upper end is slightly inclined) fixed on the front wall of the body, while the other is a movable jaw plate whose position is tilted to form a large and small crushing cavity (working cavity) with the fixed jaw. The movable jaw plate periodically reciprocate against the fixed jaw plate, sometimes getting close and sometimes getting separated. When separated, the materials enters the crushing chamber and the finised product is discharged from the lower portion; when close, the material contained between the two jaws is crushed during the process of bending and splitting.
